Interface cross reference

symplr Provider provides Interface Cross Reference to give you with the flexibility to import data into, or export data from your symplr Provider database without the intervention of a symplr representative. Interface Cross Reference is available for reference lists, a select number of forms (F:Institutions, F:Providers, and S:Entities Master Setup), and primary tables only. When available, you can access Interface Cross Reference on the toolbar under More.

This viewer allows you to relate a value coming in or going out, such as the description of a Specialty, to a value (Primary Key) in symplr Provider. This offers you the ability to import or update without matching on descriptions, for example, "Anesthesiology" versus "Anesthesia," or send a value out to another system so that it doesn't have to match.

Interface Cross Reference is used primarily when cross referencing reference list values, such as boards, specialties, license types, etc.
